Please scroll down from the top of the page after you access from the hyperlink above to read about March 17 (Fifth Sunday of Lent), March 18 (Solemnity of St. Patrick transferred to Monday in the Diocese of Sacramento), and March 19 (Solemnity of St. Joseph). Also note that the Solemnity of the Annunciation on March 25 has been transferred for the Universal Church to Monday, April 8.
Please note that posts with prayers for St. Patrick and St. Joseph will appear before the time to pray, sometimes the day before.
| Mar. 17 | Fifth Sunday of Lent | Bishop Soto has clarified that evening Masses and Liturgy of the Hours Evening Prayer on this day shall be for the Fifth Sunday of Lent rather than the Solemnity of St. Patrick. |
| Mar. 18 | St. Patrick | Solemnity; Co-Patron of the Diocese of Sacramento, along with Our Lady of Guadalupe (Statute 123 §1(b)). Bishop Soto has clarified that evening Masses and Liturgy of the Hours Evening Prayer on this day shall be for the Solemnity of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary rather than the Solemnity of St. Patrick. |
